We're looking for Sales Associates to join our team.

You don't need to be the kind of salesperson who could sell sand at the beach. In fact, we'd prefer someone who can actually listen to people.

Your job is to understand what customers need, help them find the right products, and make the whole process as painless as possible. You'll work with a wide variety of furniture, appliances and electronics, and an even wider variety of customers.

What you'll be doing

• Provide excellent customer service from the moment customers walk through the door
• Help customers identify their needs and recommend products that fit
• Build relationships with customers and provide knowledgeable product advice
• Follow up with customers and help build long-term relationships
• Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments
• Keep up to date on products, features and promotions
• Process sales and ensure customers have a smooth experience from start to finish
• Use good judgment to find solutions when things don't go exactly according to plan

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who knows how to talk to people without making them feel like they're being sold to.

You are:

• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
• A good listener
• Organized and able to manage your time
• Comfortable working independently

It would be nice if you also have:

• Previous sales experience
• Retail or customer service experience
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships
• Knowledge of furniture, appliances, electronics or the local market

Delivery & Maintenance Crew

We’re looking for a Delivery & Maintenance Crew member to join our team.

This is not your standard retail job. You’ll spend your days doing a little bit of everything: delivering furniture, appliances and electronics to customers, assembling and setting up merchandise, receiving shipments, keeping the store and warehouse in shape, and generally making sure things get where they’re supposed to go.

So, basically, if it needs moving, assembling, delivering or fixing up, you may have something to do with it.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver furniture, appliances and electronics to customer homes and businesses
• Assemble, install and set up merchandise
• Load, unload and receive incoming merchandise
• Safely move large furniture and appliances
• Help keep the store, warehouse and delivery areas clean and organized
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries
• Work as part of a crew to get the job done
• Use good judgment when dealing with customers, products and the occasional “well, how are we getting THAT in there?” situation

What we're looking for

You don't need a decade of experience. You do need to be someone we can count on.

You are:

• Reliable. Showing up is a surprisingly underrated skill.
• A team player who is happy to pitch in and help get the job done
• Comfortable lifting and moving large furniture and appliances safely
• Customer-focused and comfortable interacting with people
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally
• Good at using common sense and judgment
• Comfortable working independently when needed
• Willing to learn and take direction

It would be nice if you also have:

• A clean driving record
• Previous customer service or delivery experience
• Experience working with furniture, appliances, electronics or other merchandise

• Answer customer questions and help direct them to the right person

• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Help create a positive experience for customers from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave
